How funding works

You pay 30%,
NDIS covers the rest

When meals are funded through your NDIS plan, you simply pay 30% out-of-pocket when placing your order. That covers the cost of ingredients. We then invoice your plan manager or send the invoice directly to you for the remaining 70%.

Can NDIS fund my meals?+
If your disability affects your ability to prepare meals, NDIS may fund meal preparation and delivery under Daily Activities (Core Supports) or Capacity Building. Speak with your support coordinator first to confirm what your specific plan covers.
How does my out-of-pocket expense work?+
You pay 30% of the meal cost at checkout when placing your order. We then invoice your plan manager directly for the remaining 70% plus the $9.99 delivery fee. If you are self-managed, we email that invoice to you to claim back from NDIS yourself.
What plan types do you support?+
We work with plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants only. We do not currently support agency-managed plans. Not sure which you are? Check your NDIS plan documents or ask your support coordinator.
How do services get started?+
Services cannot commence until we receive written confirmation from your support coordinator and plan manager approving meals via your NDIS funding, and a signed service agreement is in place. Once that is done, you are ready to order.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?+
All our meals are dietitian approved. We offer gluten friendly options, meals and salad choices, dairy-free, diabetic-friendly and high protein selections. Texture-modified meals are in development and expected by end of 2025.
Where do you deliver?+
We deliver across the Wide Bay region including Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Maryborough, Gympie and surrounding areas. Contact us to confirm delivery to your specific location.
How fresh are the meals?+
Every meal is prepared fresh by our in-house chefs using locally sourced ingredients. Never frozen and never mass-produced. Meals are delivered chilled and ready to heat and enjoy in minutes.
Is there a minimum order?+
Yes, a minimum of 6 meals per order is required. Meals are delivered weekly across Wide Bay. The $9.99 delivery fee is added to your NDIS invoice rather than your out-of-pocket expense.
